THERAPY FOR ANXIETY IN MINNETONKA
Discover peace & feel free
You feel stuck in the grip of Anxiety.
Anxiety grips onto you with the force of a thousand pounds. It leaves you feeling stuck, unable to take back control.
Anxiety is a constant whisper in your ear telling you that your reality is wrong. You constantly ask yourself, “What If?” and, “What About?” You notice yourself having a hard time setting boundaries with others in fear of conflict, your heart rate feels faster and more noticeable, thoughts swarm your head and you feel panicked or on edge throughout the day.
You remember a day when you felt free from Anxiety - a time when you could make decisions and experience life without fear of judgement or consequences. When you felt at ease accomplishing the day and handling any inconveniences with confidence. It’s possible to get back to this place. Anxiety doesn’t have to hold onto you any longer.
You don’t have to keep carrying it all on your own - I’m here to help you set the weight down.
You’re tired of feeling:
On edge, running/repetitive thoughts
Feeling paralyzed by worry or stress
Fear of other’s perception of you
Difficulty with sleeping and/or eating (too much or too little of either)

Therapy for Anxiety can help you live with freedom and relief
It’s time to get your ‘you’ back!
Therapy is an opportunity to slow down - to connect with yourself, understand your thoughts and patterns, and reflect on the emotions and experiences you live through each day.
Together, we will work on identifying key stressors and negative stories your Anxiety tells you, improve the skills you already have in managing the symptoms of Anxiety, and build insight and awareness to how and why Anxiety shows up so that you feel better equipped moving forward.
I believe that knowledge is empowering. Therapy will help you understand yourself and your Anxiety better so you can live a life that is authentic and aligned with who you are!
imagine if you…

Felt connected with yourself and others
Anxiety creates a blockade between you and others - making connection feel impossible. The disconnection only leads to more isolation and loneliness. In therapy, we’ll uncover ways of setting Anxiety aside so you can get back to feeling connected with the ones that matter most.

You don’t have to navigate this alone.

At the start of every session, I’ll welcome you in and (if you’re in person) I’ll offer you something to drink and invite you to take a seat where you’re comfortable.
Sessions are 50-minutes long and can look different week to week. Each session is focused on what you are needing in that time while keeping your overarching goals in mind.
Some sessions we may focus on specific things that happened during the week. Some sessions we may spend processing previous events and connecting them with current events. Other times we may review and practice skills to manage distress or conflict. And sometimes, we’re masterminds together and do all of these things!

There is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy. Each person and their lived situation is unique!
Time spent in therapy is determined by your needs, goals, motivation, and other external factors. You and I will come up with a plan that best fits your situation and goals.
